Eductive Toulouse strengthens its training with the support of a prestigious sponsor…
“I wanted an emblematic sponsor,” says Victor Gervasoni, director of the Eductive campus in Toulouse, in the Barrière district of Paris. Who better than Maxime Médard to embody it? With his impressive track record – five Brennus shields, three European Cup victories and 63 selections for the XV of France – the former stadium manager should easily be a source of inspiration for the 250 Toulouse students.
They met through a mutual friend. For the champion, it was also obvious. Its partner Nomad Education, a school coaching start-up, was already working with PPA Sports, the Eductive school specializing in marketing, communication and management in the sports field. With this new commitment, the former red and black wishes to pass on to students the experience acquired during his 17 years of professional rugby to prepare them for the business world.
“Nothing replaces the field”
“I replaced the adrenaline of matches with the adrenaline I get from speaking in public…”, says the sportsman, more comfortable behind a rugby pitch than in front of the stage. He too intends to make good progress through this new sponsorship, which will take the form of workshops, conferences and time for informal exchanges with the students. In his eyes, the “essential value” is agility, the “primary quality” of these future young recruits in a changing job market.
The director and the champion rejoice in their vision. “The most important thing is to take pleasure in what you do,” they say with one voice. “It may seem obvious, yet it’s essential”, adds Maxime Médard, “I have long exercised my passion as a job, I know what I’m talking about. It’s not so easy to keep your motivation intact on a daily basis, even when you’re doing something you love. »
One campus, soon seven schools
Opened in September 2021, the Eductive Toulouse campus continues to develop. After EFAB (Real Estate) and PPA Sport this year, two new schools will open next September: Efet Studio Créa, a course in digital design, and Maestris, specialist in BTS with several sectors. They will bring to seven the number of brands grouped on the campus with ESGI (IT), EDBS (digital marketing and events) and PPA Business School (commerce). As for the number of students, it should exceed 300.
