Bilbao, Obra’s next rival, visits Murcia
The Basque team also has lunch for the Cup until the last day

The Obradoirista expedition to Gran Canaria returned from the islands in the middle of the afternoon with the bad taste of a defeat in a game that probably would have had another sign with a little more success in the triple and free throws.
But, as is the norm in the team, there is no time to recreate the victories or to dwell on adverse results. What counts is always the most immediate commitment, in this case the one on Saturday in Sar against Bilbao.
The Basque team, before, face the European commitment. This afternoon they visit Murcia, at 8:30 p.m., on the second day of group L, which also includes Tenerife and Darussafaka.
In the first, the insulars beat Murcia and the Basques beat the Turkish team. They reach the next phase, the quarterfinals, the first two in the group, so that the pepper growers almost play without a net while those from Ponsarnau look for a victory that will keep them at the top of the table.
Bilbao also fought to enter the Copa del Rey until the last day, but ended up falling behind in the final sprint. They only won one of the last five games of the first round, precisely against Murcia in Miribilla, 99-81. And they started the second round with another defeat, at home against Joventut, with a poor score of 51 points.
Jaume Ponsarnau hopes that the team has taken note: We have to change our minds with respect to the ACB, but we have also filled our backpack with knowledge. We have to take advantage of something from the game with Joventut that helps us to be better, which is something we are going to need against UCAM Murcia.
