The 16 year old Victor Vernikos will represent Greece in its 67th Competition Eurovisionto be held in May at Liverpool.
This choice was reached by competent committee of ERThaving previously met with the leading candidates, and taking into account, of course, the evaluation of the 70-member Committee, which for the first time participated in the selection process.
Viktoras Vernikos was born in Athens and is the youngest representative our country has ever sent to Eurovision, as he is only 16 years old, while his song “What They Say”, with which he will represent us, is his own composition.
Victor Vernikos started lessons piano at just four years old, lessons phonetic at eight and lessons guitar at the age of ten.

At eleven, she started writing her first songs here, while for two years she also supervised the production of her own music, attending Music Technology courses.
In the final trio was also the song “Liar” with Melissa Mantzoukis and “Shout out” by the duo Antonia Kaouri and Maria Maragou. The song of Greece was selected with a combined weighting factor of 50.6% in the vote of the Audience Committee against 49.4% of the vote of the ERT Committee.
The seven-member committee of ERT, chaired by Dimitris Papadimitriou, is sent by Petros Adams, Leonidas Antonopoulos, Fotis Apergi, Maria Kozakou, Konstantinos Bourouni and Yannis Petridis.
Her 67th Singing Contest Eurovision will be held in Liverpool on 9, 11 and 13 May 2023.
