Lorient almost passed, Tours returned to victory, Rouen still in pole position

The 22nd day of NM1 came to an end this Saturday. If Lorient almost fell by the wayside, Vitré keeps pace while Berck is badly embarked. In pool B, Rouen consolidated its place at the top of the standings while Boulogne-sur-Mer gave itself a little air.
The 22nd day of N1 continued this Saturday with 5 meetings on the program. The CEP Lorient almost ended up in trouble. The Bretons snatched an unexpected extension against Pole France and won (75-70). At the mark, Pope Beye (13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks) was important just like Ahmed Doumbia (7 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals for 15 rating). For its part, Tours carried out a good operation in the important face of Les Sables d’Olonne (74-79). Valérie Garnier’s players performed well and took 10th place in the standings. Rouen always impeccable, Boulogne-sur-Mer breathes
The trip to Feurs was a trap match for Rouen. Sylvain Delorme’s players managed to progress this one by five points (80-75). The quartet Andell Cumberbatch (18 points and 4 rebounds), Thomas Prost (17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals), Benoit Injai (12 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists) and mohamed choua (7 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists) was essential against the activity of Junior Zero (18 points and 6 rebounds) and Antoine Spinali (8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists). The Normans consolidated their position as leaders while Feurs remained at the bottom of the table.
Against STB Le Havre, in a match without real stakes, Boulogne-sur-Mer responded and won (88-82). Mike Gonsalves’ men made their case against a team from Le Havre who took a few minutes to get into the game. In the end, the Northerners accelerated in the third quarter to win and overwhelm the Normans. Luka Nikolic (19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists) and Pierre Truffert (19 points and 4 rebounds) were once again decisive while on the Le Havre side, Mouhamed Diagne (18 points) and Serigne Barro (13 points and 11 rebounds) will have tried everything but in vain.
