Commentary on the match
The home team showed an active entry into the match, but Žejdl did not shoot from the center of the Král circle. Slavia opened the scoring in the third minute. Buntnad gave up the puck To Pavel Mrň and he delivered a precise blow with a hammer. Přerov answered in a power play. Kudělka’s shot from the first ended up on the post and Robert Black arrived at an empty gate. After a won duel and a pass from Jan Svoboda, Dvořák found himself in front of Málek, but he did not convert a great chance. The King then eliminated Všetečka’s penetration more than once, and when the Minister was expelled, he knelt against Kulda’s attempt.
In the second half, Macuh created a promising opportunity for Jan Svobod, whose weak ground shot, however, stopped on the concrete of the falling Málk. But the bison struck before long. He caught the Slavist play-off David Brezina and headed for the far post of the home goal. The people of Prague then tried two power plays in a row. In them, Brož or Knotek threatened, but the King intervened every time. Jan Svoboda could have increased the lead of the guests, but he did not come to Málek after Doležal’s offer.
Big chances came from both sides in the third period. First, after Süsse’s pass, Pechanec missed from close range, then Král neutralized Všetečka’s cross attempt with concrete. Hanáci subsequently stopped the chances of Kern and Žovinec. Kulda was close to the comparison in the end, whose shot from close range into the open part of the goal was excellently pushed away by Král with his stick. Even the game in six didn’t help the home team, ten seconds before the end he only confirmed Přerov’s victory with the second goal in the match David Brezina.
