In the north of the country
MeteoLux has issued a yellow alert for the north of Luxembourg for the night of Saturday to Sunday and the morning of Sunday. Temperatures could drop to -8 degrees, or even lower locally.
If you have to go out early this Sunday morning, be sure to dress warmly because it will be very cold. MeteoLux has indeed issued a yellow alert for the north of the country for the next few hours, between midnight and 9 a.m.
Minimum temperatures will drop to -6°C, or even -8°C, but could be even lower locally, specifies MeteoLux.
These freezing temperatures should not last since the mercury will return to positive in the afternoon, with 1 to 3 degrees, under a sky that will be partially veiled.
This cold snap will be short-lived since the national forecaster announces a less cold start to the week, with temperatures between 3 and 5 degrees, at the best time of the day.
But the rain should return quickly and gusts of wind up to 60 km / h are expected for the days of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
