The very good stat of AS Monaco which can scare OM
The summit between Olympique de Marseille and AS Monaco promises to be explosive in many ways. The two dynamics are excellent for OM as for the Rock, very comfortable off their land.
Marseille Olympics is the most impressive team in League 1 since the end of October. No one does better in France with 8 straight wins, including 6 in the league. OM find themselves facing a hell of a rival for this 20th day, in the presence of AS Monaco.
Even if the Rock had recently yielded against the Phocaeans to Louis II (2-3), it is a completely different team which should present itself at the Vélodrome on Saturday evening.
Due to the lack of popular enthusiasm around the club, at home the atmosphere is often weak for the Rock. This will influence the results like that of last November against Marseille. However, outside, this aspect flies away immediately and the performances climb.
Monaco is part of the European top in terms of trips to the league having taken 20 points in 9 games, the same record as OM. Moreover, Monaco is another great stat to put to good use as they have scored at least one goal in each of their games since the start of the season. During the last opposition, Wissam Ben Yedder and his family lost a good beating at AC Ajaccio (7-1). Clearly, the opponent looks dangerous for the men of Igor Tudor.
