RTL Today – In Luxembourg: Seven activities for a laid-back weekend
The weekend has finally arrived! Taste French wines, listen to European jazz, watch a modernized Shakespearean play or engage in arts and crafts.
1. LISTEN TO EUROPEAN JAZZ AT THE RESET FESTIVAL

the Jazz Festival Reset is an event not to be missed, especially for jazz lovers: Rising stars and established artists from Belgium, France, Germany, Turkey, Portugal and Russia are accompanied by Luxembourg guitarist Greg Lamy. Over several days, the musicians compose and present their artistic encounters with the public over three evenings. Friday will be dedicated to duets/trios, Saturday to solo performances and Sunday to group performances.
2. TASTE WINES AT THE WINE SHOW
What: French wines

The Federation of Independent Winegrowers of New Aquitaine provides 35 French exhibitors in the Luxembourg capital to present the best products from their region. So there will be plenty of different flavors to taste! Each visitor will be offered a tasting glass, and there will also be plenty of snacks to savor (foie gras, sausage, cheese, oysters, etc.). A real French day!
3. WATCH THE MODERN VERSION OF A MIDSIDE’S DREAM

A Midsummer Night’s dream is a comic play where two loving couples, fairies, elves and a troupe of amateur comedians rehearse a play for a prince’s wedding, highlighting the contrast between a fantasy world and the rigors of the conservative habits of their daily. In this new post-pandemic creation, Myriam Muller presents a modernized version rich in public participation, circus and dance.
4. LISTEN TO BARTLEBY DELICATE
What: Indie singer-songwriter

Usually known as a solo artist, Delicate Bartleby will gather a group around him for a unique concert experience in the Grande Salle des Rotondes on the occasion of the release of his new vinyl. Bartleby Delicate’s songs find a second life in the complete versions the band wrote for a concert at the Philharmonie in 2022. The live recording has now been released on vinyl, which is why the composer has his guest group of friends at the join.
5. WATCH EDWARD Scissorhands

In Ever Vera Blue by Alexandra Wood, the narrator sheds light on the perversity of words that leads her husband to be reduced to absolute doubt. The play recounts the struggle of a lost woman, on the lookout for all hope. A question constantly arises for her: how will she get out of this?
