Germany-Belgium in Cologne next March, it’s official! – Whole foot
Sacred poster that awaits our Red Devils on March 28th.
A few days after Sweden-Belgium, which takes place on March 24 in Stockholm and will see the Red Devils launch their qualifying campaign for Euro 2024, Belgium will visit our German neighbors. As announced earlier this week, theGermany receive the Devils in Cologne on March 28. The DFB (German Football Association) confirmed the news on Friday. Germany, automatically qualified for Euro 2024 as host country, will therefore face Peru (March 25) and Belgium in a friendly during this international window.
Hans-Dieter Flick, Mannschaft coach, said: “With these two opponents, we will start preparing for the Euros at home. “We want to form a team that plays attractive and quality football with passion, enthusiasm and pride for Germany”, he said. Flick promises “courageous and surprising” decisions for these first meetings since the 2022 World Cup, in which Germany – like Belgium – took the door from the hens.
On the Belgian side, this will be the second match for the new coach. Ironically, Hansi Flick’s predecessor, Joachim Löw, was cited as one of the preferred candidates to take over the Red Devils, a rumor denied by his manager.
