The breath of protest against the pension reform continue. The Solidaires 31 union is organizing a torchlight march on February 2 at 6 p.m. The procession will leave from Matabiau station to François-Verdier via Jean-Jaurès.

Refusal to “go from work to the vault”
The union opposes the pension reform of Emmanuel Macron’s government. “We refuse to go from work to the cellar,” writes Solidaires 31. According to them, the pension reform “aims to deprive workers of a well-deserved retirement”.
In his statement, the union also returns to the consequences of the reform. Among them, the impact on the retirement of women and irregular career workers due to parental leave, illness or unemployment.
As a reminder, the first operation against the pension reform in Toulouse a gathering between 36,000 and 50,000 demonstrators. Since then, the mobilizations are linked in Toulouse with an event planned for January 31 by the inter-union, then on February 7 by the Nupes.
