Reply to the Propaganda Secretary
We are not seeking, as the Propaganda Secretary Stefano Canti frantically does, the last word on what happened: the manifest disaster on the occasion of the snowfall of recent days is in fact, with plants still hindering traffic, roads still difficult to pass on and persistent difficulties in school transport with throngs of students on the roadways. It is no longer even news that he, as usual, mystifies the object of the dispute in his last speech: we have not questioned the entire Snow Removal Service – whose employees certainly do not go our criticisms – but the Coordination Center Operational (CCO) who, renewed on a proposal from Director Barulli with non-expert technicians, managed that Service in the worst possible way. Of course, it makes you smile bitterly that even the union has joined the subjects forced to almost expose the Propaganda Secretary to the lie, such as the AASLP auditor auditors for the Delvecchio case, Boeri for the PRG, the Rector for the AASLP-University collaboration (among the first that come to mind)… But we do not allow the Propaganda Secretary to fool the citizens: he had not announced that, on the possible problems of the Service, he would launch an internal investigation – a practice in which the Secretary indulges in looking for scapegoats – to ask for a report from the “temporary” Director of the AASLP (as he defined it) ing. Selva, and that he would have made the results of this investigation public? So why, after less than a day, does he affirm without a shadow of a doubt that the technicians of the current CCO have carried out their work admirably and in a workmanlike manner? These, dear Propaganda Secretary, are called expressions, that is, politically orienting the results of an internal technical investigation whose results – if we do not have esteem for the Acting Director Eng. Selva – we would already take for granted. So ask the “temporary” Director to account and don’t skimp on questions: ask him if he is true that the impossibility of appointing members of the CCO not belonging to the AASLP has been reported to Director Barulli, who should also know the laws, already in August 2022 and that the illegitimacy of the CCO, appointed despite everything with members external to the AASLP, was highlighted to Eng. Barulli and the Board of Directors of the AASLP even from a communication from the Director of the Public Function dated 23 November 2022; ask why the BoD proceeded with an appointment of the CCO contrary to the law; ask if the BoD, instead of calling the Director back to his roles, given that by statutory duty he has to supervise his work, or mediate positions with expert technicians to safeguard the Snow Removal Service, has instead invoked measures against the same technicians; ask if the functions of the BoD also include disciplinary duties; ask, given that he did not intend to answer our interpellation, if the appointment of an illegitimate CCO could have exposed the administration to serious legal risks; she asked if Director Barulli, who was completely out of control of the human resource management situation, had accused a Sector Manager, who warned her in good time of creating a potentially dangerous case for the good management of the Snow Removal Service. All the information available in the documentation that Repubblica Futura obtained thanks to the deposited interpellation. Also ask Director Selva that even those technicians and that Sector Manager to whom no one has yet given a voice are heard on the development of the facts. Ask, in addition to the report on the delays and malfunctioning of the Service, also ask dear Secretary of Propaganda, and communicate to the citizens as promised, what will emerge. In addition to the half meter of snow it will probably also be buried by the answers……
