After the only beautiful day – a weather nightmare: a cyclone will hit Lithuania with great force
In the south it will be overcast with precipitation, mainly light snow. In the north, especially in the northwestern areas, it will be brighter and even with clear skies, and the chance of precipitation is low. In places, it will be bare. The wind will blow from the north, northeast, 5-10 m/s. The highest temperature today will range from 1 degree of cold to 2 degrees of heat.
On Saturday, our weather will be dominated by a band of high pressure. As the pressure rises, there will be more clearing, and precipitation, at least not significant, is not expected. A bald patch will form when it gets cold – let’s take care. At night and in the morning it is higher in places, the probability is in the northern part of the country, in the form of fog and frost. The wind will be barely noticeable at night, and during the day it will turn from the west, south-west, and strengthen to moderate.
At night, the temperature drops to 2-7 degrees in different areas, after the longest period it warms up to 8-10 degrees Celsius, during the day it will be slightly cold, only on the coast it will be 1-3 degrees warmer due to the wind from the sea.
On Sunday, our weather will already be dominated by the southern edge of a deep Atlantic cyclone, so gloomy, cloudy and unsettled weather will prevail. During the night, many areas will experience light precipitation, during the day – moderate precipitation. In the eastern part of the country, it will mainly snow, with some sleet, while in the western regions, sleet and rain will prevail.
In some places, sedges and sedges will form. The south-west, west wind will increase to 7-12 m/s, gusts on the coast will reach 15-17 m/s. The temperature at night will drop to 1-6 degrees, in the eastern districts it will be 8 degrees in some places, and the temperature will remain 0-2 degrees on the coast. During the day, slightly positive temperatures will prevail, only in the southeastern regions it may be colder.
On Monday, the cyclone will hit our country with greater force. Precipitation is expected at intervals – there will be everything. Southwest, west wind will blow up to 9-14 m/s, gusts will reach 15-20 m/s in many places, up to 23 m/s on the coast. The temperature will not go far from 0 degrees at night, and it will rise to 1-5 degrees during the day.
The cyclone will slowly move away on Tuesday. At intervals, we will still receive small precipitation. The wind from the western directions is gradually blowing. Temperatures will remain similar to Monday.
