Two contractors from Toulouse participate in the program “Who wants to be my partner?” broadcast Wednesday January 25, 2023 on M6, at 9:10 p.m. Philippe Rouvier and Thibaut Choulet, two 29-year-old engineers, will present Floatan anti-drowning t-shirt they developed.
A t-shirt that turns into a life jacket
The two friends, who met during their studies at the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Toulouseworked for many months on the development of this unique t-shirt which, by inflating, turns into a life jacket when it is immersed in water.
“It’s a t-shirt that can be worn from morning until night, with which the children could play near a water point, be splashed, play with a water gun… In this case, nothing happens, the t-shirt remains normal, explains Thibaut Choulet on the show. But if the child goes into the water, accidentally or without being aware of the risk, the t-shirt automatically turns into a life jacket. »
Approaches by the production of the show
This is the production of “Who wants to be my partner?” » which approached the two founders of Floatee to offer them to participate in the show.

Filming for the show took place last September. The two engineers were able to defend their anti-drowning t-shirt in front of five investors, including Blaise MatudiWorld champion 2018. Footballer Born in Toulouse has just launched an investment fund.
Without revealing the result of their passage, Thibaut Choulet says he is “delighted” with the experience. Beyond the show, the anti-drowning t-shirt is for sale on the Floatee website since mid-November, at a price of 149 euros. Philippe Rouvier and Thibaut Choulet have already recruited a person, are considering other hirings and intend to find distributors to sell their revolutionary t-shirt, 100% made in France.
