They talked about the first global screening of the project that touches on the refugee issue, as well as the importance of the screening for the diaspora.
A few words about the project:
We all remember the war in Yugoslavia… “Joanna of the subway” by the Serbian playwright Vidosav Stevanovic describes the fate of the refugees from the former Yugoslavia and in her person the fate of all the refugees who fled the war and arrived in Athens is outlined. the human tragedy, the annihilation of values ββand the destruction of history in their homeland. This play touches on a leading challenge of the times and a global phenomenon of the movement of refugees, and we are certainly not facing a crisis of numbers, but a crisis of solidarity. War, human rights violations, underdevelopment and natural disasters lead more than 60 million people to leave their homes, half of whom are children. Refugees are uprooted and in a vulnerable position, they do not rely on the protection of the country, governments although guarantee basic human rights to their citizens, but for refugees this safety net disappears.
