In Luxembourg“On a floor at home just for Lego”
BERTRANGE – Lego fans like Pascal have released part of their collection for the enjoyment of customers at La Belle Etoile.
“I love Legos!” exclaims to his friend, a young customer from La Belle Etoile in Bertrange, facing the retro pirate ship brought by Pascal Wagner, 43, from Kaundorf. Until February 4, the shopping center and plastic brick melters of LuxLug (Luxembourg Lego UserGroup) are offering the “Build your World” exhibition.
About fifty enthusiasts present their creations. Actions are organized, like Saturday, from 12 p.m., with recovery of Lego and stock exchange.
This week, Pascal was editing a winter slideshow and another bringing together a fortified castle, wind turbine, Lunar New Year parade… “My daughters and my wife also build. We put all the contributions together and called the set Legonia. The youngest built the castle. At 5, she puts on sets for 18+ without any problem,” he says.
“A table is nearly 50,000 Lego pieces, or 100 kilos, he explains”. As imposing as it is, it is a drop in the collection of the Luxembourger, who stores 2 tons at home. “On a floor fitted out just for Legos”.
Pascal, who works in finance, is square about his accounting, the archiving of his coins and their market value. On the other hand, he has never resold one of the sets purchased as an investment. “I find it difficult to separate myself from anything,” he smiles.
