I will meet the Sparta general with the German club Sörensen last time, wait
The people of Prague have already played three games as part of the winter training. Even before Christmas, the Spartans played in their training center at Strahov a match against Slovakia’s Žilina, with whom they won 3:1 with the help of two goals from Lukáš Haraslín.
After the start of the New Year, Sparta returned to the process of preparing for the spring part of the season and traveled to Marbella, Spain, where Sparta has traditionally held its winter training camp in recent years.
New winter acquisitions that Sparta gradually announced also traveled to Spain, including Finnish midfielder Kaan Kairinen, Serbian Dimitrije Kamenović and Australian Awer Mabil. Later, the last of the new additions to Letné, the Albanian Qazim Laci, arrived at the training camp.
The new reinforcements have already shown themselves in the preliminary matches with Bundesliga’s Stuttgart, which Sparta easily dealt with and won 2-0, and Salzburg, a participant in the group stage of the Champions League this year. However, Sparta fell 2:1 against the Austrian team. Lukáš Haraslín managed to score the best goal at the training camp, who won in both matches.
“The most important thing is that we manage to apply the things you try out in training to matches. That’s what I’m most happy about,” answered the Slovakian winger on club television after the match with Stuttgart.
After returning from the southern part of Europe, Prague’s last test awaits before the sharp start of the league carousel. Nuremberg, which is currently in the middle of the table of the second German football competition, will arrive at Letná in Prague.
It will certainly be an interesting match for the Danish stopper of Prague Asger Sörensen. Brian Priske’s squad strengthened just before the start of this season and arrived just from Nuremberg, Germany. He will face a lot of former players with whom he started in Germany a year ago.
According to estimates, a very interesting visit is expected in epet ARENA. Despite the winter weather, around 1,500 supporters of the German team are said to arrive in Prague.
Prague will play its first league match on January 28 at 6 p.m. at Sigma Olomouc. They will then face off a week later at home with Mladá Boleslav.
