POLITICIANS IN THEIR OWN WORDS Member of the council m of Prague for the ODS on his Facebook on January 18 to negotiate a coalition at the Prague municipality
Yesterday there was a meeting with representatives of the Pirates and the STAN movement about the creation of a Prague coalition on the government’s plan. I have a good impression of the meeting. It took place in a constructive mood and it was clear that all parties are interested in an agreement. We found a number of things yesterday. Our work teams will now discuss the things we do not have yet. That is why I believe that the leadership will soon create a stable coalition on the government ground, and in February Prague will already have a new one, born from last year’s elections.
Negotiations are not simple and compromises are not born easily. But what is even more valuable for me is that we have made significant progress in the negotiations. The interests of Prague must come first. And Prague desperately needs new leadership.
