180 homes without gas after a leak
The incident took place on Wednesday January 18. The firefighters of Haute-Garonne Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS 31) were dispatched to a flammable gas leak at Toulouse. From 11:33 a.m., the emergency services were alerted to the danger located at 5 impasse Sabarich Raymond in the south-west of the Pink City.

180 households deprived of gas
Quickly, the firefighters intervened for a gas leak on the public road. It occurred after a pipe was torn out during work, according to information from SDIS 31. In total, 14 firefighters and three vehicles were deployed to set up a security perimeter around the gas leak. The police was also present to ensure that the security perimeter was respected.
Nearby residents were evacuated. GRDF was also called upon to shut off the gas. Thus, 180 households were deprived of gas throughout the intervention. It was not until the end of the afternoon that the gas was restored and the residents were able to return to their homes.
