Poland with gold and bronze in the city!
The Polish national team won the gold and bronze medals in the mixed teams competition at the Winter Universiade in Lake Placid! Nicole Konderla and Adam Niżnik won the assessment on the HS100 hill, the third place was taken by Kinga Rajda and Szymon Jojko. Silver went to the first division of Japan – Machiko Kubota and Ryusei Ikeda.
After the first series to lead the first investment team of Poland. Nicole Konderla (89 m) and Adam Niżnik (91.5 m) were 3.5 points ahead of the second Japan 1 – Machiko Kubota (84 m) and Ryusei Ikeda (91 m). The second place was taken by Poland – Kinga Rajda (82.5 m) and Szymon Jojko (80.5 m).
Fourth place at the Kazakhstan attraction halfway point, Japan 2 is fifth, and the location is the United States.

In the final, Nicole Konderla jumped 89 meters, and Adam Niżnik jumped 91 meters, and thus the first team of Polish investments reached for gold medals at the Universiade. The White-and-Reds triumphed in Lake Placid with an advantage of 16.3 points over the silver medalists – Japanese soldier 1 – Machiko Kubota (86 m) and Ryusei Ikeda (89 m). Third place and bronze medals were won by the second Polish team – Kinga Rajda (85.5 m) and Szymon Jojko (83 m).
Kazakhstan ranked fourth on Wednesday’s capital mixes competition ahead of the second team from Japan and the United States.

In the unofficial individual classification of the best among men, Danił Wasiljew (93 m and 91 m) was ahead of Adam Nizhnik (91.5 m and 91 m) and Ryusei Ikeda (91 m and 89 m). In the women’s race Nicole Konderla (89 m and 89 m) was ahead of Kinga Rajda (82.5 m and 85.5 m) and Machiko Kubota (84 m and 86 m).
For the Polish platform, the first gold medal in the mixed team competition at the Winter Universiade. In the past, mixed doubles at this student event were won from Russia (Trento 2013) and Japan (Szrbskie Lake 2015 and Almaty 2017).
After three ski jumping competitions in Lake Placid, the Polish national team has already won four medals in ski jumping – two gold and two bronze. Then, in each individual match, she defeated Nicole Konderla, and the third was Kinga Rajda. Now our jumpers cause these effects in the mix in the change of Adam Niżnik and Szymon Jojka.
