The owner of Bournemouth has just taken a stake in Lorient
Arrived directly from Burkina Faso in 2020, Dango Ouattara made his debut in Lorient in August 2021. His record this season in Ligue 1 is successful: six goals and six assists in eighteen games.
This imminent transfer comes only a few days after the arrival of the wealthy American businessman Bill Foley in the capital of FC Lorient as a minority shareholder. This investment is made through the company BKFE, which already has control of AFC Bournemouth since last December. “I am therefore very happy for FC Lorient to concretize this partnership, which we will endeavor to make effective in the coming weeks”, said then president Loïc Féry.
After 19 Premier League days, Gary O’Neil’s AFC Bournemouth is the first non-relegation player (17th) with only four wins.
