An elderly woman left the road, crossed the pavement, broke through the barriers and fell into a ditch, hitting the roof of the vehicle against the building of the University Hospital in Krakow. As she notified the police, the proper function of the gas brake was implemented.
The incident took place on Wednesday (January 18) in the area of the University Hospital in Krakow’s Prokocim. The passenger car drove over the pavement, broke the barrier, fell down the embankment and hit the utility building with its roof.

– The cause of the events was, as we initially determined, confusing the brake with gas – said the press spokesman for the Krakow police, Piotr Szpiech.
