Bulgaria’s exports increased by 39% in one month
The trade balance at the end of November was in the red by 3.685 billion euros, according to the BNB reports

For the first eleven months of 2022 the amount of Bulgarian goods reached EUR 43.581 billion with a growth of 39.1% compared to a year earlier. In comparison, exports from January to November 2021 increased year-on-year by 25.1%. This is shown by the preliminary data of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).
In November last year alone, the amount was 4.325 billion euros and increased by 37.6% (1.181 billion euros) on an annual basis.
The import of the goods for November it was 4.764 billion euros and grew by 29.4% compared to a year earlier.
In one month, imported goods in our country amount to 47.267 billion euros with an annual growth of 40.3%. For comparison, imports for – January 2021 grew by 26.3% year-on-year.
The central bank calculates that the current and capital accounts is in the positive with EUR 73.5 million with a deficit of EUR 316.1 million for November 2021. For January – November it is also in positive territory with EUR 326.9 million with a positive balance of EUR 722 million for next period of 2021
The BNB reports that in November 2022 the balance on the current account was negative and amounted to EUR 142 million, while in November 2021 it was again negative by EUR 345.9 million.
From January to November 2022. current account is in the positive and amounts to EUR 456.5 million with a positive balance of EUR 133.4 million for January – November 2021.
The trade balance at the end of November it is in the red with 439.1 million euros with a deficit of 539.2 million euros for November 2021. For one month it is in negative territory with 3.685 billion euros with a deficit of 2.365 billion euros for the next period of 2021
The balance of the services is positive in the amount of 306.1 million euros, as it was in November 2021, when it amounted to 288.3 million euros. For January – last year, it is in the positive with 4.869 billion euros, with a positive balance of 3.819 billion euros for January – November 2021.
According to BNB data the capital account is positive and amounts to 215.5 million euros, with a positive value of 29.8 million euros for November 2021. From January to November, it is negative – 129.6 million euros, with a positive value of 588.6 million. euro for the next period of 2021.
The financial account for November 2022, it has a positive value of 120.9 million euros, with a negative value of 322.7 million euros for November 2021. For January – November, it is positive with 3.325 billion euros, with a positive value of EUR 3.282 billion for the next period of 2021.
Direct investments – assets increased by EUR 49.7 million with an increase of EUR 71.2 million for November 2021. For January – November 2022 they increased by EUR 1.070 billion with a growth of EUR 704.8 million) for the same period in 2021
Direct investments – liabilities up by €45.4 million, up by €131.1 million for November 2021. From January to November, they rose by €2.191 billion, up by €1.968 billion for the next period of 2021.
