Like the beautiful wooden boat of the Daurade or the dragon located in Place Saint-Georges, a wooden play structure will see the light of day in the Barry garden. This playground will be “ monumental ” as well as ” the most inclusive and pleasant for all “.
Other amenities such as the creation of a biodiversity trail and an arboretum, the installation of a city stadium, the planting of 200 trees and the revegetation of the North car park are provided.

A resident of the Casselardit district mentioned the idea of revegetate the areas around avenue de Lombez and avenue de Grande-Bretagne. By sprucing up all the roundabouts, these so-called “strategic access” would then be more pleasant. The proposal is also to create relaxation areas (like benches), play areas, clean tags and remove billboardsas well as cycle lane developer. The idea was adopted but is not yet feasible for the moment. However, the community undertakes to free the feet of trees avenue de Lombezin order to improve the growth conditions of the Chinese pear trees present, but also to fight against heat islands and to beautify the axis. The central reservation will be vegetated.
Unfortunately, the avenue de Grande-Bretagne will have to wait for the end of the work on the axis of the Express Bike Network (REV) to consider this type of development.
The playgrounds and relaxation areas are for their part already integrated into the municipal project for the future park along avenue de Grande-Bretagne.

Zénith car park lighting limiter
An up-to-date idea after the many debates and announcements about energy savings. Zénith car park lighting limiter and Cartridge car park silo has been proposed. This works well from a biodiversity point of view, considering that the lights are so strong it feels like daylight. Neighbors complain besides their intensity, harmful to residents. A solution of sensor system was therefore submitted; The light does not turn on only in case of need and passage ! But the Town Hall rejected the proposal for the Cartoucherie car park silo, because Indigo is the operator…
Instead, she plans to replace the old lights in the Zénith car parkconsidered too old, by a more modern and ecological LED bulb system. In addition to revegetation of the Place du CapitoleToulouse is getting a real makeover this year!
