The drinking competition ended politics. They found 29 drunken children in a club in Prague 7
three dozen teenagers under the influence of alcohol were discovered by the police during an inspection of one of the clubs in Prague 7. One of the girls inhaled 2.14 per thousand. The business drew attention to itself by policing entry from the age of 16 and competing to see who has the most alcohol on their breath. Bartenders face up to one year in prison for selling alcohol to children. The case was reported on the website of the Prague police by its spokesman Richard Hrdina.
The event called Tester party was organized by the Prague club on the night from Friday to Saturday. The participant with the highest amount of alcohol on their breath could win the grand prize. Her winner was announced at two in the morning.
Since we started entering from the age of 16, the police checked it. Those in the club found 29 juveniles under the influence of alcohol. Fourteen of them breathed over one per thousand, but there were also almost double values. “The absolute winner of our ‘competition’ was a sixteen-year-old girl who breathed 2.14 per thousand,” stated Hrdina. He added that the joy of the win was not shared by the girl’s parents, who had to come to the police station at night for their offspring.
The police officers documented each case and informed the Authority for the Social and Legal Protection of Children. Intoxicated juveniles were handed over to their legal representatives. “Other potential winners on the night are the bartenders who serve alcohol to children and as they can be the main prize if convicted of the offense of serving a child up to one year behind bars,” said a police spokesman.
