The Cisl Florence-Prato Disabled Desk is under way
“If you open your eyes, you don’t see any differences” is the slogan with which the Florence-Prato Cisl launched the new ‘disabled helpdesk’, thus increasing its commitment in this important area as well. The helpdesk for disabled people wants to be a place to listen, provide information, support and inclusion paths, at and in the workplace, to workers with different abilities and to other people in the so-called ‘protected categories’, pursuant to law 68/’99, with the aim that distinguishes all Cisl activities: to give more value to people, work and the potential that everyone can express.
Work inclusion and training courses are included within the activity of the desk, to develop one’s skills and competences; connection with the Cisl service structures, such as Inas, Caf, Anteas, which offer social security, tax and social assistance; information and specific protection on matters of interest and regulatory changes relating to disability.
“We always say that work is dignity and the value assumed by work is the same for everyone” explains the general secretary of the Cisl Firenze-Prato, Fabio Franchi. “This is one of the goals we set ourselves at the February 2022 Congress: we are convinced that work inclusion creates social and economic value and that it is an opportunity for growth for everyone.”
It is possible to contact the helpdesk by making an appointment by telephone on 055-326901 or ask for further information by writing to [email protected] (specifying ‘disabled helpdesk’ in the subject of the email).
