Salzburg Airport in summer with some news
For many years now, Greece has consistently been at the top of the rankings of travelers to the Austrian airport. Several islands are on the flight program this summer. Eurowings and the tour operator Tui connect Salzburg with Karpathos, Corfu, Kos and Zakynthos on a weekly basis. In addition to what is probably the most popular Balearic island of Mallorca (up to daily departures), the sister island of Ibiza is new to the program this year (twice a week with Eurowings). The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings also flies to Olbia twice a week. Lamezia Terme is also on the itinerary. The sun program is rounded off by the year-round connection between Egypt and the Hurghada bathing paradise, which is offered twice a week. In addition, Eurowings flies to Larnaca (twice a week) and Corendon offers three weekly flights to Antalya. Tour operator partner Rhomberg will be reinstating Calvi in Corsica.
Eurowings also fly from Salzburg to the German metropolises of Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Düsseldorf, while Lübeck Air takes passengers to the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. British Airways and Easyjet fly to London Gatwick and Ryanair has been offering London Stansted for many years. Transavia flies to Amsterdam twice a week all year round. Turkish Airlines flies to Istanbul daily from Salzburg. Dubai is also an exciting travel destination and can be reached by direct flight with Flydubai.
