Showcase of contemporary Nordic films Scandi 2023, January 18 to 25 in Prague
On Wednesday, January 18, the Scandi 2023 screening of contemporary Nordic films begins, which will last until January 25, in cinemas throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You can look forward to a selection of the best pictures from Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.
“This year’s films are diverse in genre, but they are united by the theme of interpersonal relationships and social role. The festival will be opened by the Norwegian historical feature film Emigranti, with the personal participation of director Erik Poppe, who is behind the successful films Králův nešohlás or Utøya, on July 22. Zenga – Japanese Zen paintings from the Kaeru-an collection, all week at the Salmov Palace
National Gallery Prague expanded the exhibition Zenga – Japanese Zen paintings from the Kaeru-an collection by additional works on December 13, 2022, thus extending the duration of this unique exhibition. Visit the Salmovská Palace and a kochej with Zen paintings and calligraphy, which were donated to the collection by the Dutch collector Felix Hess.
You can visit the exhibition until June 18, 2023, and you can buy tickets for 80 to 300 crowns.
