three Walloon provinces still placed on yellow alert by the IRM, here are the expected amounts of precipitation
This Saturday, an active frontal system slowly crossed our country from west to east. It is only at the end of the night or Sunday morning that he does not leave our territory for Germany.
In most regions, the accumulations will be between 10 and 15 l/m². Especially in the provinces of Namur, Luxembourg and Liège, in yellow alert, the precipitation will however be more abundant:
– in the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg: 15 to 20 l/m² were expected during the day, then an additional 15 to 20 l/m² are to be feared during the night from Saturday to Sunday. The total accumulations could therefore reach values of 30 to 40 l/m² in 24 hours. It is especially on the south of these provinces that the most significant amounts of precipitation are expected.
– in the province of Liège: 10 to 15 l/m² both administered during the day and during the night. Therefore, the total accumulations will be between 20 and 30 l/m² in 24 hours. The heaviest amounts of precipitation are expected in the eastern part of this province.
