Did he catch Slavia? Negotiations are still open, a stay at Sigma is more likely. Foreign clubs also probed, Minář admits
Mojmír Chytil started the winter training with Sigma Olomouc ahead of Slavia Prague. He also flew to a training camp in Turkey, and he sees himself as more likely to stay at Hané. Ladislav Minář commented exclusively for Ruik on the current situation surrounding the talented sports manager of the Moravian team.
Negotiations with Slavia are still open
Striker Mojmír Chytil on his way to Slavia? Not yet. Negotiations are between the clubs, the player is represented by agent Pavel Paska, and the Olomouc star does not deal with the situation too much. It concentrates on the present and therefore on Sigma Olomouc and its goals.
In addition, the player himself perceives staying on Hané as more likely. “It’s just a matter of whether I will continue here or in Slavia. Currently, it rather seems that here in Olomouc,” you will still get it on Wednesday for club website.
Slavia already according to the Polish media looking elsewhere than Hané. And what did he catch? In an interview with Ruik, Sigma’s sports manager revealed how things are at the moment.
“Negotiations with Slavia about Mojmír Chytil’s possible offense are still open, however, we made it clear from the beginning that her Sigma will come in the winter only if we manage to bring in a replacement player. Whether from Slavia or from elsewhere,” Ladislav Minář let himself be heard.
“That didn’t work out at the moment. So it is currently replaced that at least the spring will be played by Mojmír in Olomouc. However, the transfer window closes only in February. Until then, anything can happen,” he remarked.
There is also interest abroad. What about a new contract?
Slavia intends to be generous to Sigma in the event of a winter offense. However, it should be different at the moment when she should buy Mojmír Chytil in the summer. After all, he will be in a much more advantageous position than now.
Hvězda Olomouc’s contract expires at the end of 2023. It would definitely be possible to extend it. But it is not currently being negotiated.
“Mojmír and his manager made it clear that they did not want to extend the contract. However, if it were to change, we would of course be open to negotiations,” revealed Ladislav Minář.
Do not sell Chytila in the winter season can appear to be a risk. Theoretically, it was possible to speculate that perhaps Slavia might not be the only interested party and that there could possibly be interest from elsewhere as well.
Olomouc’s sports manager revealed that this is indeed the case: “The situation around Mojmír Chytil was also probed by some foreign clubs.”
Of course, this means nothing at the moment, but it may give Sigma some hope. In addition, we do not know which clubs are involved and if they will be as generous as Slavia.
We also have sporting ambitions, reports Minář
As already stated above in the text, Olomouc refuses to sell Mojmír Chytil before he can bring in an adequate replacement. Even though it is quite risky for the club.
“We do not hide the fact that Sigma is a club where the sale of players is one of the important parts of the implementation of the budget. On the other hand, however, we also have sporting ambitions,” says Ladislav Minář.
“We made two good transfers in the summer (Kryštof Daněk and Václav Jemelka). We prioritized the economic side of things because we were able to help from our own resources to make it sportingly.” he added.
And the case of Chytila? “Even in this case, the economy cannot be completely ignored, but we are still trying to find a solution that would not weaken us so much in terms of sports. In short, so that the economy suffered as little as possible, while at the same time we kept the sport at the best possible level.” concluded the conversation.
