This time Italy (and England) cried
Bad rumors continue to trample world football. At the age of 58, the former Italian representative, bronze medalist at the 1990 World Cup, Gianluca Vialli, died in London after a serious illness – pancreatic cancer. The legend of Sampdoria Genoa, but also Juventus Turin and England’s Chelsea FC.
I was a direct opponent of Czechoslovak gunner Tomáš Skuhravý, who shone in FC Janov. But only on the field, in private, they were friends, they even celebrated birthdays together. “A smiling boy who liked humor. I can’t believe she’s no longer with us,” reminiscent of Vialli’s famous Bomber.
Olayinka moves to Belgrade
After five years of exemplary service, Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka will say goodbye to the Slavic team, who will enter the chronicles of the oldest Czech club as the top scorer in European cups. His contract ends in the summer, he did not extend it, Slavia boss Jaroslav Tvrdík thanked him for everything.
He agreed with the Serbian Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, winner of the 1990/1991 Champions Cup, where he will face the Gabonese legionnaire Guélor Kanga, who won the hearts of Spartan fans during his time at Sparta Prague (2018-2020).
Olayinka will move to Belgrade after the end of the contract, or already in the winter.
Bale ended his career
Welsh international Gareth Bale announced his retirement from the football scene at the age of thirty-three. The former star of Real Madrid, who moved to the White Ballet from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 for 100 million euros (about 2.5 billion crowns), which was then the highest transfer fee in history.
Bale amazed with his great kicking technique (left foot), but he was also famous for his cunning and meanness. It is enough to recall the elbow strike that he delivered to the face of Ondřej Kúdela in the World Cup 2022 qualification.
He will definitely not become a role model for followers.
Real without the Spaniards
The most successful and famous club in the world, Real Madrid, wrote down a historical figure in its annals: in the highest Spanish competition, it played against Villarreal without a single player of Spanish nationality. And he lost 1:2.
The club of legends such as Alfredo di Stéfano (born in Argentina), Ferenc Puskás (Hungary), Francisco Gento, Pirri, Juanito, Emilio Butragueňo, Raúl Gonzáles, Vicente del Bosque, Iker Casillas or Sergio Ramos does not offer any of the domestic players in the current roster , who would be worthy of it.
Or Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti did not discover someone like that.
