Ligue 2 (19th day) – The Sochaux-Caen match finally postponed!
End of match deal Sochaux-Caen. This Thursday evening, the LFP announced the report of this meeting of the 18th day of League 2 to Friday January 20 at 6:30 p.m., a date that suits the two clubs already disqualified from the Coupe de France. The match was initially scheduled for Saturday January 14 at 3:30 p.m., the day of the funeral of the wife of Stephane Moulin, sadly passed away this week.

At first, Sochaux had refused three proposals for reporting dates (Friday 13, Sunday 15 and Monday 16 January) arguing logistical constraints impossible to meet, via the voice of the general manager Samuel Laurent. In its press release published this Thursday evening, Malherbe thanks the LFP and BeIN Sports for having made the effort to find a new date. In its sympathetic press release, the LFP “sends its most sincere condolences to Stéphane Moulin, his family, his loved ones and to the entire Stade Malherbe Caen. »
the @SMCaen would like to thank the @LFPfr & @beinsports_FR for their adaptability which will have been sorely tested. #SMCaen #TeamSMC #FCSMSMC
