Confident all-rounder – “I want to win the Champions League”
Kristijan Jakic has been an important building block for Eintracht Frankfurt over the past six months. His goals for the second half of the season could hardly be higher.
Frankfurt – Qualifying for the round of 16 of the Champions League was a milestone in the history of the club Eintracht Frankfurt. In the Bundesliga and Champions League, Jakic usually plays from the start, but not always in his traditional position as a defensive midfielder.
Due to injury concerns, the 25-year-old had to increasingly help out in defence. If possible, that should change this year: “I hope to be used on the six. We don’t have any more injuries.” In the friendly against Leipzig, Jakic was finally allowed to play in the preferred defensive midfield in Dubai.

Also Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasses finally wants to use his protégé in the 6th position, where Jakic can use his great duel and running strength even better. Nevertheless, the competition in central midfield at the SBU is particularly strong. With his flexibility, however, the man from Split has already proven that he can help Eintracht in many different situations.
