Istres, Grenoble… The program of the Academy this week
After more than a month of truce, AS Monaco’s U17s and U19s are back on the road to the championship. Here is the program for these recovery matches.
Back to the championship for the different teams of the Academy! After a break of two games in the Gambardella Cup, Frédéric Barilaro’s U19s received Istres this Sunday, while Manus Dos Santos’ U17s are playing on the lawn of Grenoble. Here is the program… 🗓
The pass of three for the U19s?
On the strength of two consecutive successes in the Coupe Gambardella, respectively on the lawn of Vénissieux (0-5) then against Aubagne this weekend (1-4) Frédéric Barilaro’s proteges find their way back to the championship. Indeed, the partners of Saimon Bouabre received Istres this Sunday, January 15 at 2:30 p.m. at the Performance Center.
Facing the news penultimate in the championship, the opportunity to sign a third success in a row is a great one. In the event of victory, the U19s could remember the leading teams, since they are currently fifth, only three units from Toulouse, second.

U17, first place goal
Dispossessed of their leadership chair against Saint Etienne on December 4, the U17s of Manu Dos Santos will have only one objective in mind when entering the lawn of Grenoble: take first place.
Against Isérois twelfth in the standings and only four points behind Saint-Priest, last, Pope Cabral and his teammates will give everything to bring back the three points of their trip. A victory that could prove decisive, since in the event of a misstep by ASSE, the young Monegasque shooters, currently second with 31 points, would regain the lead at the expense of the Greens, leaders with 33 points. Dage guys!
