Bad news for Pecha: he probably won’t make it to the start of spring, he’s flying to training
David Pech’s involvement in Slavia was met with great inconvenience at the beginning. He is injured in Sunday’s warm-up match with Hradec Králové and will have to rest for at least three weeks from the football match. It is highly effective that the twenty-year-old player will not be ready for the start of the spring season of FORTUNA:LEAGUE.
Pech received a four-and-a-half-year contract at Eden, i.e. until the summer of 2027. According to Sport, Slavia paid Mladá Boleslav an amount between 25 and 30 million crowns. But the beautiful story of the new reinforcement got a bad start right from the start.
The talented all-rounder was injured in the first preparatory match against Hradec Králové (1:0, goal by Moses Usor). After forty-one minutes, he felt a sharp pain in his thigh muscle and had to limp off the field. Already after the game, coach Jindřich Trpišovský was worried that the injury would be of a more complicated nature. “David is awaiting examination. We’ll see how it turns out with him,” he said shortly after the match.
The doctors did not deliver positive news to Eden. It will take time to get back into the process. “Magnetic resonance with David Pech revealed a muscle injury that required an approximately three-week break,” Slavia announced on the Twitter account.
This means that a member of the national team under the age of twenty-one will probably miss the start of the spring season of FORTUNA:LEAGUE. The start of the second half of the season is scheduled for January 29 in a home game against Jablonec.
Today, Slavia flew to their training camp in the Portuguese Algarve. There was bad luck in the expedition. A sore muscle will heal more easily in the heat.
