UArctic rectors meet in Monaco to deepen cooperation for a sustainable Arctic.
See you on January 13, 2023 at the Oceanographic Museum from 8 a.m.
Heads of higher education establishments, members of the University of the Arctic (UArctic) network, concerned with the Arctic and its relations with the world, meet at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco on January 13, 2023 around the theme “University cooperation as a solution to achieve sustainable goals in a rapidly changing Arctic world”.
They aim to develop and deepen cooperative ties, within and outside academia, to address challenges and seize opportunities in the Arctic. Participants in this meeting will specifically focus on ways for Arctic institutions and UArctic members in general to operate more closed while also seeking cross-sector connections to meet the challenges posed by a rapidly changing world.
This meeting, organized in collaboration with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, is a joint project of the UArctic, the Oceanographic Institute and the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ), an associate member of Paris-Saclay University.
The exchange sessions will take place on January 13 from 8:00 am, in English only.
Private event, not open to the general public.
