Palaye Royale returns to Prague on January 20 with a new performance of Fever Dream records from the fall of last year. The Canadian-American band led by brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett liked the capital so much that they shot several music videos here, including the last one for the single Oblivion. Charles Bridge and other picturesque corners of the city center play the main role here.
The small sports hall will once again resound to the rhythm of the tempo of dirty rock’n’roll, cheeky punk vocals and a whirlwind of rock riffs. British band Yonaka will accompany them on the Fever Dream Tour as support.
After two years, Palaye Royale released a new album, Fever Dream, on October 28 last year, where the inspiration from Prague is already very legible on the album cover. The ambitious work achieved success for its purposefulness, optimistic mood, but also a typical dose of art-punk and lyricism.
“Working on this record is like taking us back to when we first fell in love with music,” the band comments on the record. “It’s a lot about self-confidence, believing in your own strength, overcoming all the obstacles that life throws at you. , when we really took a positive approach in our music,” he continues. The title track Fever Dream already has over two million views on YouTube.
Fans can once again look forward to a proper rock show, where great guitar solos stand out, as well as lyrical ballads full of emotions. There will also be significant costumes that represent a unique visual experience, and maybe even a new cover of the legendary Eleanor Rigby hit by The Beatles.
