Germans about Kaczyński: the most powerful man in Poland, one step away from collapse
- PiS will take power only in 2015 – in a coalition with effective parties. He has already crushed one coalition partner, but the other one does not give up
- Solidarna Polska is now putting forward such radical externalities that Kaczyński has a conclusion: either euro limits with the EU pool, or power – noticing “TAZ”
- Therefore, the coalition must return to autumn and regular governments, “even if PiS blames Ziobro for another defeat – the father of many “reforms”, which in many others demolished the Polish rule of law.

“The most powerful man in Poland, Jarosław Kaczyński, is one step away from the fall of Polish Polish,” writes the Warsaw correspondent of “Tageszeitung” (“TAZ”).
Gabriele Lesser recalls that in 2007 Kaczyński, as prime minister, “tried to lure Samoobrona into a corruption trap.” However, when the party became suspicious and left the coalition, it ordered new elections, in which PiS miserably lost and will take power only in 2015 – in a coalition with effective parties. One of them – Agreement – PiS “completely crushed and took over the influence of its deputies”.

The second coalition partner – Solidarna Polska – “is now putting forward such radical externalities that Kaczyński has influence: either billions of euros from the EU pool for reconstruction after the coronavirus Commission, or further expanding PiS & company authorities in Poland, without urgently penetrating the Commission’s funds,” we read.
The former is possible only without Zbigniew Ziobro, the latter – only with him. “Until now, Kaczyński has always put money before money,” writes “TAZ”.
PiS is afraid of early office
Breaking the coalition would mean early election of the commission, which Kaczyński is afraid of. The coalition must therefore return to autumn and regular dignities, “even if PiS blames Ziobro for another defeat – the father of many ‘reforms’, which in many others demolished the Polish rule of law.”
The author reminds that PiS and “Ziobrists” ignoring decisions for Poland or rulings on time are devoted to the obligation to comply with “money for the rule of law”.
Also consider the cover of “Polityka” with a golden bust of Ziobro as “the most expensive minister in the world”, who has already deprived Poland of PLN 100 billion, reflects – as Lesser writes – the mood in the country. “For Kaczyński, the motion for a vote of no confidence is a chance to get rid of the troublesome Ziobro. But (Kaczyński) is usually chosen by. Ziobro stays in the saddle.”
Penalties for Poland
Recall the daily that adding contributions for taxpayers affects a million euros of fine every day, because the European Commission imposed on Poland after the judgment of the EU court in the case of the Disciplinary Chamber at the Supreme Court. It also imposed conditions on the rule of law in the National Reconstruction Plan.
“However, instead of quickly starting almost 280 milestones to start producing about 35.4 billion euros of issues and low interest rates, Poland has so far been tested to outsmart the song” – “TAZ”, writes referring to the Chamber of Professional Affairs and the neo-KRS.
As we read, PiS now has a new law on the Disciplinary Chamber, this time transferring disciplinary cases of judges to the Supreme Administrative Court. And although – constitutional lawyers – this is an action with the constitution, “PiS is to resist that the European Commission will not say three times because of ‘no'”.
“Only when Poland reaches at least 37 milestones can it obtain money from the EU Reconstruction Fund and receive the first tranche of EUR 4.2 billion. The only question is: will Zbigniew Ziobro participate in this share?” asks Gabriele Lesser in TAZ.
