Slávista Pech was injured in training, Kačaraba has muscle problems
Pech is a recent acquisition, after transferring from Mladá Boleslav, he is preparing for a few days in Eden. Against Hradec Králové, he started with the captain’s armband on the right side of the defense in the starting line-up. But he didn’t even play halftime. In the 40th minute, he went off the bench due to an injury.
“We will go for an examination. He has a problem on his front thigh muscle, he felt a pinch. We didn’t want to risk it, that’s why we withdrew him immediately,” Slavist coach Jindřich Trpišovský informed the club. Based on the results of the examination, it will be decided whether Pech will travel with the team to a training camp in Portugal next week.
The vast majority of Slavia players are fine at the moment. Trpišovský outlined who has health problems. Full-back or midfielder Lukáš Masopust dropped out because he is on antibiotics, stopper Taras Kačaraba sustained a muscle injury during the break while fulfilling an individual plan.
In individual mode, defensive midfielder or stopper Tomáš Holeš and central defender David Hovorka are working on the return. Ivan Schranz is training fully with the team after unpleasant injuries to his head and cervical spine, but missed the game. “So far, we didn’t want to risk him going into headers,” Trpišovský pointed out. Midfielder Jakub Hromada was laid up with a fever during the Christmas holidays, he had some fitness issues, but they managed it against Hradec.
