Night closure of the Rome South branch on Monday 9 January: all the info
For those coming from Rome and going to Florence, on the Roma Sud branch, from 22 January to 5 January 10, the ramp onto the A1 Milan-Naples will be closed.
This was announced in a note by Anas, the company that manages motorways throughout Italy. The reason for the temporary night-time closure is to allow inspection of a signal portal.
Motorists who find themselves traveling that stretch can alternatively travel:
– for those coming from the Roma Sud branch, take the A1 Milano-Napoli in the direction of Naples, exit at Valmontone and return towards Florence
– for those traveling on the Gra, take the A24 Roma-Teramo, follow the signs for the A1 Milano Napoli towards Florence.
As always, Anas informs that there will be constant updates on the traffic situation and on the alternative routes that are distributed through the “My Way” connections broadcast on Sky Meteo24 (Sky channel 502), on Sky TG24 (Sky channels 100 and 500 and channel 50 of digital terrestrial), on La7 and La7d (channel 7 and 29 of digital terrestrial) and on the following channels: on the website autostrade.it, on RTL 102.5, on Isoradio 103.3 FM, through the variable message panels and on the Infomoving TV network in the service area. For further information, it is advisable to call the Autostrade call center on 803.111, active 24 hours a day.
