Charlene and Albert of Monaco far from the Rock: their discreet getaway during the holidays
After having deduct Family Christmas, Charlene and Albert of Monaco have discreetly set sail for the United States. Leaving the Rock for a few days, the princely tandem took up residence in Florida and more precisely in Fort Lauderdale, a city known for its beaches and pleasure canals. If they were able to take advantage of the mild climate and the heavenly settingthe son of Rainier III and Grace Kelly and his wife mostly went to the community aquatic centeran infrastructure that visibly left these two swimming lover.
Onlookers were able to observe the parents of Jacques and Gabriella admiring figures of divers in all elegance. Indeed, the prince was dressed in a blue suit jacket navy as well as beige pants, and his half, known for her looks combining chic and rocka black turtleneck sweater combined with a baroque pattern maxi skirt. At the end of this day, Albert II spoke at a press conference, declaring: “We celebrate the bond between Monaco and the United States and the wonderful friendship that we preserve.” This one also received the key to the city from the hands of the mayor, Dean Trantalis. Further proof that Monaco and Fort Lauderdale are now linked since the Monegasque prince received in 2011 an honorary medal of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, neighboring the aquatic center which he recently visited, and of which Jack Kelly Jr was president during the 1980s.

If Albert II is a boating enthusiasthis wife is also very familiar with the estate since she is a former Olympic swimmer. Moreover, Charlène of Monaco created the Princess Charlene Foundation aimed at saving lives by struggling with drowning, while developing the education of children through sport. “It is a priority for me support and pass on these sporting values that I share with my husband Prince Albert II”, she had indicated facing the camera on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of her initiative, on January 4th.
