First weekend of the year and here is our selection of outings to do in Toulouse on January 7 and 8, 2023.
#1. Savor a pancake
Epiphany was Friday. But we can still enjoy pancakes this weekend. L’Union of artisan bakers and pastry chefs of Haute-Garonne (UABP 31) recently established a list of the best galettes in the department.
Brioche des rois, Limoux or galette à la frangipane… Several artisans from Haute-Garonne have been rewarded, all you have to do is make your choice!
#2. Buy plants
This is a good opportunity to green up your home a bit. The first major plant sale of the year is organized in Toulouse this week-end.
Until Sunday, Plantes pour tous is indeed organizing a big sale on rue de la Pomme, with more than 3000 plants. More than 150 varieties will be offered, from 2 euro.
#3. Make plans at the wedding fair
Brides and grooms of 2023 (or later!) this appointment is made for you. The largest wedding fair in Occitania takes place on Saturday and Sunday at the MEETT in Toulouse.
More than one hundred exhibitors will be presented on site, parades will be offered. The opportunity to find your outfit for D-Day and select the best service providers.
#4. Hunt at a flea market
Notice to bargain hunters. Flea markets settle on the François-Verdier alleys until Sunday. A hundred professionals will be present to sell their treasures.
Restoration and refreshments on site.
#5. Discover Niki de Saint Phalle
More than 200 works by Niki of Saint-Phalle can be discovered at the Abattoirs Museum until March 5.
The opportunity to immerse yourself in the work of this major artist, and more particularly in the period between 1980 and 1990.
