The kind of weather that has been experienced in Hungary for a long time will come this weekend
We arrive with the weather forecast for the weekend in Hungary.
Before the holidays, it seemed that after the frosty December, Christmas would also bring cold cider, but it didn’t turn out that way, and we could enjoy the effects of an almost spring-like warm front even on Christmas Eve. The beginning of the year 2023 was similar, in some places the thermometers soared to around 10-12 degrees Celsius, and the Hungarian people could change to a thinner jacket.
However, let’s see what the weekend ahead has in store.
First of all, we come with good news, since the long-lasting frontal effects in our country have ceased, and anticyclonic effects will prevail over the Carpathian basin. This may seem like a novelty, since the last period was not exactly pleasant for those with headaches and those sensitive to the front.
On Saturday morning, we can expect humid, foggy weather and stratus clouds. In the northern areas of Hungary, we can also watch out for minor rains and showers, otherwise only drizzle.
During the day tomorrow, it will be persistently cloudy, with fog and mist, so motorists should pay extra attention while driving.
The sun may shine for several hours throughout the country on Saturday, with temperatures reaching 6-9 degrees in key areas of our country, but around 9-11 degrees in the southern, sunnier counties. On Monday, however, a frontal effect will again arrive over Hungary, which may bring with it a generous amount of precipitation and cold weather.
