It is important to know that at the beginning of the year 2023, theCrit’Air 3 vehicles are not eligible for the Toulouse Métropole bonus although they will be directly affected by the ZFE restrictions from January 2024. “At the next Metropolitan Council in February, we will vote on theextension of these aids to Crit Air 3. Grants are awarded subject to means testing. As explained above, your reference tax income must be below 35,052 euros per unit.
The amount of aid amounts to “40% of the amount excluding tax capped according to the type of vehicle and the reference income.“
Four brackets, defined by the taxable income distributed by the number of shares (RFR/share), determining the amount of the aid: below €6,300, below €13,489, below €18,800 and below €35,052.
These aids are then degressive according to the type of vehicle.
- If RFR/share is less than €6,300: the aid amounts to €5,000 for a new vehicle, €3,300 for a used vehicle, €3,000 for a change in engine, €1,000 for a used thermal vehicle Crit Air 1, €500 for a Crit’Air 2 second-hand thermal vehicle.
- If RFR/share is less than €13,489: the aid amounts to €4,500 for a new vehicle, €3,000 for a second-hand vehicle, €2,500 for a change in engine, €1,000 for a used thermal vehicle Crit Air 1, €500 for a Crit’Air 2 second-hand thermal vehicle.
- If RFR/share is less than €18,800: the aid amounts to €4,000 for a new vehicle, €2,700 for a second-hand vehicle, €2,000 for a change of engine.
- If RFR/share is less than €35,052: the aid amounts to €3,000 for a new vehicle, €2,000 for a second-hand vehicle, €1,000 for a change in engine.

Proceed with the replacement of a polluting vehicle by a new or cleaner second-hand vehicle, with the long-term rental (LLD) or with option to purchase (LOA) of a low-emission vehicle or with the change of engine.

- The State Conversion Bonus for the purchase of new or used low-emission vehicles (VPE) and the change of engine, to replace a vehicle certified crit’air Non-Classé (NC)/5/4/3.
