On the Albi ring road, which rests Rodez and Toulouse: record number of speeding violations before the New Year
207 vehicles were flashed by the national police on the Albi bypass (Tarn), Saturday December 31, 2022.
Motorists were a little too eager to find their loved ones for the New Year when passing through Albi. On the ring road of the Tarn capital, where the speed is limited to 90 km / h, the urban motorized brigade recorded 207 usable pictures with their radar. The police had been installed since 10:30 a.m. and remained for part of the day.
“A sad record”, deplores the national police of Tarn, on this axis which sees a large number of motorists passing who can go to Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) or Rodez (Aveyron).
Reminder of sanctions
The police recall that the maximum speed is 90 km / h on the ring road, and 130 km / h only when entering the highway.
