“The very strong occupation of the land”
The decrease in the number of dealers is due to the methods employed by the department. On October 13, the prefect of the Rhône Pascal Mailhos presented the action of the police services and gendarmerie deployed in the department, for the period from September 2021 to September 2022. A playground of 1.2 million people for the police zone and 680,000 people for the gendarmerie sector – which inherits the remaining quarter of the delinquency. “The real difference compared to before is the very strong occupation of the field”, welcomed the representative of the State of the 3rd most populated department of France on October 13th.
