The people of Prague can also look forward to historic rides on tram No. 42, the first ride will be on May 27 on the occasion of the anniversary of the assassination of the acting Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich. They can keep track of the year-round annual events on Web sites.
Prague City Tourism, formerly the Prague Information Service, was established in 1958 and provided a comprehensive information service to the citizens of Prague. Later, the creation of cultural overviews or guide services were added to the company’s agenda, and in 2018 it changed to Prague City Tourism. From January 2021, the organization acquired the Prague Towers from the city.
Last year, the organization launched a campaign called Enjoy Respect Prague, which aims to inform tourists about the rules and culture of behavior in the historic center. “The campaign will continue. to implement a shared scooter in it, for example, to observe the night silence or reserved parking,” said Jana Adamcová, deputy chairwoman of the board of Prague City Tourism.
