The cinemas and gyms are raising prices, hundreds of families prefer to stay at home
This year, the family gave an average of 1,500,000 crowns for sports and culture. In 2023, there will be about twenty thousand, mainly because of high energy prices, explains the economist, referring to data from the Czech Statistical Office. Included in the price are sports hoops for children and sports equipment.
100 families, roughly a third, will put a sharp limit on their free time, which will put cultural and sports facilities under pressure and they will have to slow down their health care, which for fifteen percent of them should be liquidated, warns Kovanda.
In the worst situation are private theaters that cannot rely on the organizers, which are often the state or the city. The MF DNES actor and principle of the Na Jezerce Theater draws attention to this fact Jan Hrunsk.
A year ago we paid 25 thousand monthly for gas, this year we pay 83 thousand. Water and electricity went up with a similar jump. we will not accept enough cultural grants for several years, because the capital city of Prague only supports a few selected PSP organizations. In addition, km, e Prague and stt only support organized business connected to the municipality or the Ministry of Culture, think Hrunsk.
The councilor for culture opposes this Hana Tetkov (Prague sob). In June, we announced a dota program that was supposed to help not only theaters, but also cultural events with payments for energy savings. We spent ten million crowns on it, said Tetkov.
Grants won’t help
Cultural theaters that receive these subsidies include, for example, Slaughterhouse 78 in Holeovice. Our population has decreased so much, but it is not so severe. Compared to the pre-Covid era, it is about ten percent less, said co-founder scna tpn Kubita. Even here, however, they did not avoid healthcare.
We didn’t get much money from the grant funds, and the only other source for us is tickets. In Menin u there are only funds from private companies and a sponsor. That is why we increased the entrance fee by ten and ten percent, explains Kubita, saying that they raised the price gradually and only for selected productions.
In addition to theaters, I am aware of the current debt situation for cinemas as well. Compared to the pre-covid year of 2019, their revenues fell by 18 percent. A screening at Cinema City Chodov costs from 239 to 385 crowns, depending on whether the film is screened in 2D or 4D.
Cinemas and fitness centers are always full
How much more do you pay to enter art cinemas? But even our prices are rising not only because of energy. The contractor gave us health care, and therefore we have to health care from the New Year. At one entrance, however, it will be a maximum of ten crowns, to Filip Linhart, who is in charge of marketing for Aero, Svtozor and Bio Oko cinemas at Aerofilms. But the people are good, now one sheet costs around one hundred and fifty kroner, added.
Much better, there is no situation in the culture or in the schools, where Praan goes to play sports. According to the councilor for cycling and sports Vta Imrala (Pirti) we can start a similar dota program like the one for culture. Konen’s word, however, will be a new coalition, whose form will be negotiated.
However, don’t rely on fitness clubs and gyms. Energy nm increased by ten percent in autumn. If we have an exception for inflation, as stated in our contract, we will not avoid health issues, said Monika Grusov, the owner of the Dejfit fitness center from Prague 6.
I’m a swimmer but I’m a swimmer. While AquaDream on Barrandov increased its prices slightly last year and gave up its plans, the stadium in Podol has been increasing its price by 35 percent since January. The basic price of admission for 60 minutes will rise from 140 to 185 crowns.
