Celebrity hair stylist Inga Bagdonaitė brings Hollywood style to Lithuania
Inga looks for new ideas in travels, international trainings and closely observes the images of Hollywood stars and is not afraid to adapt them to Lithuanians.
“And why not move Hollywood to Lithuania”, smiles the energetic dzūka.
Her new one hair a collection of haircuts and coloring – a gift for Lithuanian women who want to change their image. It is intended not only for world celebrities who do not lack courage, but women were not part of larger or smaller experiments in their appearance: some models shine in extremely bright colors, but in restrained neutral shades.
“The work took almost half a year – I created colors, responsibly selected models, concern for hair reliefs and characters,” reveals the backstage of his profession hair stylist. – The creative process is very reminiscent of the world of fashion, because here too everything is first laid down on paper, then it is time to select the materials and only then the images are transferred onto the models’ heads.”
To create new images and bring global trends to our country, I. Bagdonaita needs not only time and patience, but also considerable investments.
“Sometimes a day’s training can cost more than one thousand euros, not to mention the travel expenses…” – reveals Inga, who is constantly looking for the secrets of perfection from the world’s best specialists.
“I never create monotonous, monochromatic looks, so you can always see combinations of several colors in my models’ hair, whether they are bright or not. All the images of the new collection can be adapted to any special holiday, because they are for all seasons, and Christmas and the upcoming New Year are a great opportunity to dress up in a new image and inspire yourself and others”, smiles I.Bagdonaitė.
However, the expert is in no hurry to attribute all the credit for the successful results to herself. She firmly believes that without a reliable team, she would have been able to become famous not only in her hometown, but also in her hometown.
And this time the ambitions were really big – Inga decided to present the urban style collection in the spaces of the “Žalgiris” arena in Kaunas, so she had to think hard about how to present her works in an original way for the evaluation of experts and customers. Clothing designer Rolanda Simanavičiūtė, five mannequins, make-up artist Vaida Jankauskaitė, choreographer Kristina Burneikienė helped her realize her vision, and the models were captured by photographer Loreta Kondratė.
Was the creator herself satisfied with the result?
“I received a lot of compliments, calls, praises from my colleagues and the audience of the event that I managed to reach the world,” says Inga Bagdonaitė, and she certainly does not intend to stop admiring her work. – I plan to surprise the foreign audience as well, to promote the name of Lithuania in international beauty waters.”
