A striker from Cluj is heading to Slavia
Sources of the Sport.cz server confirm that football club Slavia is very interested in Yeboah. The talented Ghanaian player should have cut short his vacation in his home country and left for Prague to undergo a medical check-up, according to ghanasoccernet.com. The clubs are to be agreed, the transfer fee is to be 1.6 million euros (38.6 million crowns), according to the aforementioned Ghanaian website.
If the transfer can be completed, the club from Vršovice will immediately invest part of the money it will receive for Sor’s transfer to Genk. The Belgian club is to pay 6.5 million euros (157 million crowns), part of this amount will go to Baník Ostrava, from where they bought the seamed Sora last winter.
Yeboah joined Cluj in March this year from Ghanaian team Young Apostles. He quickly made an impression in the junior team, so he started playing for the Romanian national team in the fall. In the first part of the season, he played in 29 competitive matches, scored three goals and provided two assists.
He also appeared in the starting line-up in both Conference League matches against Slavia, where the staff of coach Jindřich Trpišovský was able to examine him in detail. In both duels that Cluj won, he entered the statistics with a yellow card. He can start in attack or on the wing.
