Haute-Garonne: the specialist in home drug delivery heavily condemned
The boss of “Tourneuf la peuf”, a small “company” specializing in home delivery, leader in Haute-Garonne, has just been sentenced to 6 years in prison.
For a year, his drug network established itself as one of the most important in the Haute-Garonne department. But the manager of the Snapchat account “Tourneuf la peuf”, specializing in the delivery of narcotics, was finally arrested. He was even tried this Wednesday, before the Toulouse criminal court, with two “little hands”.
The charges against this man and his two “subordinates” are very serious. It all started in the spring of 2020. At that time, the national police hoped to dismantle drug trafficking which was gaining momentum in western Toulouse. For months, dealers have been promoting themselves on the Snapchat social network. The “Tourneuf la peuf” account offers two services: drug delivery, and the setting up of ephemeral deal points, which, by definition, constantly change locations.
By dint of working, the officials spot a car. On July 22, this vehicle, a red Audi, hit a toll bar at the Spanish border, in the direction of Toulouse. The driver flees but 63 kilos of herbal cannabis are recovered from the car. Thanks to the DNA, the police eventually identify the fugitive. He is a 31-year-old aeronautical technician, defended by Me Sarah Nabet-Claverie. This individual without a criminal record was arrested a year later. “I needed the money. It was €10,000 per trip, I couldn’t refuse,” he insists. The day of his arrest, the investigators also get their hands on the drugs stored in his apartment. One of his accomplices, a technician specializing in fiber optics, is also apprehended.
“Chinese”: the nickname of the boss
Very quickly, several elements prove that these two individuals work for “Chinese”. This is the nickname of a former restaurateur, already sentenced by the courts 19 times. This resident of Tournefeuille, arrested a few months later, had specialized in the sale of cannabis and cocaine. A market that pays enough to drive in Porsche and in large displacements. “With this traffic, we gleaned between 4000 and 6000€ per day. But everything was not for me, I had superiors. I earned around 9000€ per month”, insists the manager, represented by Mes Pierre Alfort and Alexandre Parra-Bruguiere. His bosses, however, do not appear anywhere in the procedure.
Unconvinced by the posture adopted by the three defendants, the prosecutor requires 6 years of imprisonment for the manager, 48 months including 18 suspended for the driver of the Audi, and 18 months including six suspended for his accomplice.
The court follows the requisitions concerning the “boss” of the network, in recidivism. The aeronautical technician, defended by Sarah Nabet-Claverie, finally receives 3 years in prison, 18 of which are suspended. His accomplice was given a 12-month suspended prison sentence.
